Behind the classic yet enchanting design language of the lounge chair is British designer Faye Toogood. The Peace lounge chair has a certain playfulness that is characteristic of the designer, combined with a surprising material: natural pine.

The chair is made of heat-treated pine wood and can withstand even the toughest outdoor conditions, from rain to scorching sunshine. Over time, the heat-treated pine acquires a silver-gray patina that adds an intriguing allure to the appearance of the Peace outdoor stool. If you want to preserve and enhance the original tones of the pine wood, oil the wooden surface regularly with a suitable furniture oil.

About the designer:

Faye Toogood is a British artist and designer whose work ranges from sculpture and fine art to furniture and fashion design. Toogood founded her own studio in London in 2008, and her works are included in the permanent collections of many museums, including the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Corning Museum of Glass in New York and the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne.
