These limited edition designs often provide an artistic interpretation of Artek’s iconic furniture and design elements. The 90th anniversary is no different: Finnish graphic and visual artist Inka Bell has given her own take on the recognizable shapes of the iconic Aalto Screen 100.

In Bell’s original design, the characteristic slat patterns come to life in layers of black and blue ink, which have been partially removed using laser engraving. From a distance, the surface looks like a flowing color gradient, but if you look closer, you will discover a subtle detail: pixel-like disruptions that are reminiscent of digital glitches. These give the design depth and rhythm.

The result is a geometric poster that is both dynamic and serene – just like Artek itself: constantly evolving, yet always timeless.
