Description

Asplund Horizon Rug.

The carpet / tapestry Horizon Field was designed by Mattias Stenberg for Swedish label Asplund. The contemporary rug is hand tufted and made from a special blend of wool and tencel of the highest quality.

The motif represents a field landscape, with hand-carved details and it is designed to be hung on the wall or placed on the floor as a modern accent.

The natural character is broken by black, abstract lines that provide a beautiful contrast. In addition, these lines create depth in the field landscape.

Dimensions: Rug is available in a square shape 160x160 cm, or a rectangular shape 160 x 240 cm.

In 2018, Horizon Field was named Carpet of the Year by Elle Decoration, based on the following:
"Norwegian nature interpreted in a rug expressive enough to hang on the wall".
