Design by Norm Architects.
The pendant lamp Bank from the Danish Menu has a timelessness due to the combination of black metal and mouth-blown glass. The crescent shape of the lamp has an atmosphere of old-fashioned elegance, this shape was especially popular in lamps in the 1930s. Norm Architects have transformed this shape into a lamp that is common today, and you could imagine that the Bank -lamp can be seen just as well in an old bank building as in a modern bistro, for example, or at your home. The shape is also practical, because this is an even distribution, the light looks nice all around.

About the designers:
Norm Architects is a dynamic design duo by Danish architects Kasper Rønn (1976) and Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen (1976), both graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. As true modernists, they believe in design where the emphasis is on meeting a real need rather than creating a need, and this fact is reflected in their work as architects and industrial designers.
