Fritz Hansen is an internationally renowned design brand that was founded in Denmark as far back as 1872. The design philosophy is based on the same principles as it was 150 years ago: Fritz Hansen believes that a single piece of furniture or lighting can influence the atmosphere of a room, creating a feeling of happiness and well-being among the occupants.

Fritz Hansen's collections range from Danish design classics including the Church chair (1936, Klaare Klint), China Chair (1944, Hans J. Wegner), Ant chair (Arne Jacobsen), the Tremmesofa (1945, Børge Mogensen), The Egg chair , the Swan and the Drop (designed in the late 1950s by Arne Jacobsen for the SAS Royal hotel in Copenhagen), Series 7 chair, or the 'butterfly chair' (1955, Arne Jacobsen), PK22 chair (1956, Poul Kjaerholm) to contemporary pieces from designers like Jaime Hayon and Cecilie Manz. The Danish lighting company Lightyears has also recently become part of Fritz Hansen.
