TONONE
Hoe kunnen we onze fascinatie voor traditionele mechanica en ambachtelijke gereedschappen toepassen in state-of-the-art design? Deze uitdaging vormt de basis van de producten van designlabel Tonone. Tonone is in 2013 opgericht door Anton de Groof en is gevestigd in Nederland.
Anton de Groof heeft een passie voor traditionele mechanieken. Dit is sterk terug te zien in zijn lamp ontwerpen. Hij transformeert traditionele mechanieken naar hoogwaardige en innovatieve lampen. Zo zijn de stoere, industriële designs van Tonone ontstaan.
Het ontwerpteam van Tonone werkt samen met lokale vakmensen om hun producten te produceren. Elke stap in het proces van ontwerpen en produceren gebeurt met zorg en oog voor elk detail. Tonone staat voor gedurfde, functionele en no-nonsense producten met een industrieel karakter. De visie van het ontwerpteam is dat traditionele ambachtelijke gereedschappen en mechanica zowel een visuele als functionele basis kunnen zijn voor innovatief productontwerp.
