The woven, two-tone color combinations add a lively touch to the simplistic pattern, and the blanket is beautifully finished with colorful fringe at both ends.
The Color Block Blanket is made of high-quality Peruvian wool, sourced from Merino sheep, and Corriedale sheep, the former known for its extremely soft wool, and the Corriedale sheep known for its strong wool. This combination makes the throw/blanket both luxuriously soft and very durable.

About the designer:
The Dutch designer Hella Jongerius (1963) studied industrial design at the Design Academy in Eindhoven. After graduating, she did several projects for the Amsterdam-based design agency Droog Design.
Since 1993 she has been running her own studio, Jongerius lab, in Rotterdam. Through Jongerius lab she designs textiles, crockery and furniture. Her design is characterized by the combination of opposites, for example traditional and contemporary. Jongerius has done projects for major international companies such as Vitra, Artek, Kvadrat and Ikea. Her work can also be seen in many museums, including the MoMA in New York.
