The demand for modern and light furniture that is also easy to move around led the innovative designer Mathieu Matégot to design the Copacabana series.
The Copacabana Lounge Chair was designed in 1955 by Mathieu Matégot. The low Copacabana Lounge Chair has the impression of being designed with a single pencil line and the elegance of the chair is in the continuous strength of the line. It is constructed on the basis of a curved tubular frame with a round seat and back, made of the perforated metal Rigitulle sheet that often characterizes Matégot's work, which continues into the hind legs. The armchair is available in black and a wide range of upholstery for the seat.
