The new Muuto Doze lounge chair is a surprising and comfortable chair with a minimalist and modern look.

This Doze armchair is part of the Doze collection, designed by the Norwegian design duo Anderssen & Voll for the Muuto brand. This collection line combines Scandinavian design with a nod to the 1970s.

The Doze Lounge Chair offers maximum comfort because it has an "embracing" backrest and is equipped with upholstered armrests. The Doze armchair looks subtle but very sturdy and has a stable construction. Cushions are filled with soft foam and cotton, the upholstery is from Kvadrat, which contributes to the comfort.

The Doze is perfect for lounge areas in hotels or offices, as well as for relaxing at home in front of the TV or with a good book.

The Doze series is available in different colors and with an Ottoman (foot stool). The base of the chair has felt caps. The base of the Doze armchair comes in the variants black, chrome and dusty green.

After ten years of working together at the Norwegian design agency Says in Oslo, the founders Torbjørn Anderssen (born 1976) and Espen Voll (born 1965) have started to set up a new company. Anderssen & Voll launched in the fall of 2009 and quickly set out to create the modern, sleek designs that they have become known for.
