The Eames Fiberglass Side Chair La Fonda. This is a limited edition. The seat shell is combined with cushions in Toostripe fabric by Alexander Girard. The chair is available in two colour variations, of which only 250 pieces are available.

Charles and Ray Eames were good friends with designer and interior designer Alexander Girard and influenced each other's work. The archives with the designs of the Girard and Eames families are part of the collection of the Vitra Design Museum and formed the starting point and source of inspiration for Vitra when designing this special limited edition.

The colour combinations are:

Seat shell in Eames ochre dark, base in basic dark and seat cushion covered with Toostripe fabric black/raw umber.

Seat shell in Eames red orange, base in classic red and seat cushion covered with Toostripe fabric orange dark/crimson dark.

The Eames Fiberglass Side Chairs with the La Fonda base are provided with numbered metal labels.
