Eve is a lightweight wooden lounge chair in an aesthetically intriguing design that combines a wooden ring with a moulded wooden seat, resulting in a genuinely iconic appearance.

The Eve armchair is a design by Timo Ripatti for Fredericia, Eve armchair is a junction of 1950's design influences and modern, refined aesthetics, and it also combines traditional craftsmanship with modern manufacturing techniques. Released in 2018, Eve armchair features a large, wooden ring – the sides of the ring function as armrests as well as mounting points for the thin seat made of bent oak. Eve is an attractive example of Ripatti's distinctive style where poetic delicacy meets simple functionality.

About the designer:

Timo Ripatti is a Helsinki based designer, who has gained a whole lot of know-how studying architecture, interior design and furniture design. In 2010 Ornamo honoured Ripatti with an award for The Best Furniture Designer of the Year.
