The transparency of the glass beautifully reflects the warmth of the light, while the small slits create changing light and shadow in your room.

More than just a lamp, the fireplace lamp is both sculpture and light, seamlessly combining form and function. Designed by the HYBE DESIGN TEAM, this striking piece is encased in a slotted cylinder, casting a dynamic interplay of light and shadow across floors, tables and windows.

At its heart is a mouth-blown glass shade, suspended upside down above a base reminiscent of crossed tree trunks, evoking the warmth and flicker of a real fire. As you move, so does the changing glow, creating an immersive experience that transforms your space.

Founder Jun Takeda explains:
"I was fascinated by the beauty of glass, whether it was for water or whisky, and how we could reimagine its use. The transparency of the glass reflects the warmth of the light, while the slits allow the glass to shimmer and dance, creating a softer, more organic feel."

Originally unveiled at the Rossana Orlandi Gallery during the 2023 Salone del Mobile, the Fireplace Lamp is inspired by the dark Nordic winters. It is designed to bring warmth and ambiance to any environment. Whether used as a reading lamp or a sculptural statement piece, it captures Takeda's philosophy of bridging the past and future in the present.

More than just lighting, the Fireplace Lamp is a living work of art: a light source that stimulates the senses and invites reflection, just like a flickering fire on a quiet evening.
