The PK15 is Paul Kjaerholm's last design from 1979, the chair reflects a lifetime of refinement and attention to detail, evident in the clean lines, organic shapes and expert use of solid ash wood and, of course, natural French cane.
The PK15 is made in such a way that it consists of only four elements within the structure, starting with the front legs that turn into armrests and a backrest, the back legs that also merge into the backrest, and then everything is secured by a bracket and a seat.

About the designer:
Poul Kjaerholm was a trained carpenter and continued his studies at the Danish School of Arts and Crafts. He had a particular interest in various building materials; especially steel, which he regarded as a natural material with the same artistic finesse as other natural materials.
