Design by Arne Jacobsen.
The lamp was originally named AJ Royal Hanging Lamps, the company adorned the ceiling of the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, Denmark. While the AJ Royal Suspension Lamp remains true to the original shape, it has been redesigned to fit seamlessly into the interior of any home, regardless of the size of the room.
The AJ Royal hanging lamp is available in different sizes, with a choice of a slide of 37 cm or 50 cm, making it ideal for a number of different interior arrangements. The lamp has been specially developed to hang high, therefore it is equipped with a special opal bottom screen, which ensures 100% glare-free light.
The open rings at the top subtly illuminate the fixture. The durable polished metal and the discreet interior lamp that spreads the light creates an elegant, radiant effect, which is both practical and timeless in the elegant simplicity of the design. This lamp never goes out of fashion.
If you have several rooms to illuminate, then there are many more AJ Arne Jacobsen lamps inspired by the late designer Jacobsen in the Louis Poulsen collection, such as wall lamps, floor lamps and table.
