Alexander Lervik's minimal wardrobe stand is a graphic wardrobe to show clothes instead of hiding them. An open wardrobe for use as an independent furniture element in any room, with the added benefit of airing clothes to prevent a new wash cycle.
“I wanted to hang a lot of clothes in a small space and immediately find a specific jacket or shirt. I also wanted to show the garments, to give them an architectural envelope with a clear and direct graphic identity. Alexander happily admits that his designs take on a life of their own - the wardrobe has made its way into the fashion stores where it frames some rare items, and the homes of fashion addicts to show off their latest finds.
The Atelier collection also poses a typological question: why hide your clothes in a wardrobe if you could use them as a new art expression to reshape any space? Except at home, use this Atelier collection in the office, lobby or restaurant to add elegant spaces for scarves, coats and jackets with hats on them.
Take off your running shoes or boots and leave them on the soft coconut mat. The Wall version fits perfectly in any hallway, with the added benefit of the threshold for phones, keys or even works of art.
This coat rack is equipped with a mat made of coconut bristles. The Atelier coat rack from Design House Stockholm is also available as a wall version.
