The Hashira is a design by Norm Architects for Audo Copenhagen. Deriving their name from the Japanese word for column or pillar, these textile lamps fill the room / hall / corridor with a cozy ambient light. The lamp is a modern, Scandinavian interpretation of the traditional Japanese rice lantern. The lamp has three handmade shades of beige colored textile. Thus, the lamp provides a very atmospheric diffuse ambient light. Each shade has a sleek steel line that keeps the textile in place and at the same time adds a graphic effect to the lamp.
This perfectly balanced light works well in both classic and contemporary environments, on its own or in a cluster, in both residential and commercial spaces.
The Hashira Cluster Pendant Lamp is available in 2 sizes (make your choice in the options below) and is part of a collection of table, floor and pendant lamps.
