Audo Copenhagen Hashira Floor Lamp

AUDO COPENHAGEN HASHIRA FLOOR LAMP.

The Hashira is a design by Norm Architects for Audo Copenhagen. Deriving their name from the Japanese word for column or pillar, these textile lamps fill the room / hall / corridor with a cozy ambient light. The lamp is a modern, Scandinavian interpretation of the traditional Japanese rice lantern.

The floor lamp has a shade that is handmade with a beige colored textile. Thus, the lamp provides a very atmospheric diffuse ambient light. The shade has a sleek steel line that keeps the textile in place while adding a graphic effect to the lamp.

This perfectly balanced light works well in both classic and contemporary environments, on its own or in a cluster, in both residential and commercial spaces.

The Hashira collection consists of floor, table, wall, pendants and portable lights.
