AUDO COPENHAGEN HASHIRA TABLE LAMP.

The Hashira is a design by Norm Architects for Danish label Audo. Deriving their name from the Japanese word for column or pillar, these textile lamps fill the room / hall / corridor with a cozy ambient light. The lamp is a modern, Scandinavian interpretation of the traditional Japanese rice lantern.

The table lamp has a shade that is handmade with a beige colored linen textile and dark ash base. Thus, the lamp provides a very atmospheric diffuse ambient light. The shade has a sleek steel line that keeps the textile in place while adding a graphic effect to the lamp.

This perfectly balanced light works well in both classic and contemporary environments, on its own or in a cluster, in both residential and commercial spaces.

The Hashira lighting collection consists of floor, table, pendant and portable lights.
