The IOI mirror is based on the interplay of lines from the Art Deco period, and has been converted by the design duo Gamfratesi into a mirror with a contemporary look, the design also has the detail as a central element in the design. The 'stick and sphere' motif is reflected in the shape of the letters that make up the name, and is pronounced 'i-o-i'

About the designers:

The Gamfratesi design studio was founded in 2006 by the Danish architect Stine Gam and the Italian architect Enrico Fratesi. The studio is located in Copenhagen, they also travel a lot up and down between Italy and Denmark for research of new upcoming projects and development of new products. Gamfratesi already made many beautiful designs for Gubi, Hay, Skultuna, Louis Poulsen lighting, Fritz Hansen and others.
