This sideboard is made up of several separate parts. If you choose this combination, you have an ideal sideboard for the home or office. The nice thing about this series is that it consists of separate elements, so you have the possibility to adjust the height of the sideboard to your own wishes.
The Dresser large, by String is 234 centimeters wide, 30 centimeters deep and 85 centimeters high. The cabinets are 40 centimeters high. The side panels are made of gray painted steel and the shelves of gray MDF. Other materials, colors and dimensions are also possible. The side panels are available in white, gray and black painted steel. The shelves are available in white or gray MDF, black stained ash, or birch, oak and walnut
The cabinets and shelves are made of MDF and with a walnut veneer. The frame is made of steel with a black powder coating.
The depth of the cabinet is only 30 centimeters, so it quickly fits in different places.

About the designer:
Nils "Nisse" Strinning (December 8, 1917 - May 10, 2006) was a Swedish architect and designer.
Strinning was born in Kramfors and came from a Swedish family that originated in Ångermanland in the 16th century. The name was adopted at the beginning of the 20th century by the family farm "Strinningen" north of Härnösand.
Nisse Strinning was best known for the String bookshelf system that he and his wife, the designer Kajsa Strinning, designed in 1949 for a competition initiated by Bonnier, a leading Swedish magazine.
In the 1940s he studied architecture at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm (KTH). As a student, he designed a drainer consisting of plastic-coated metal wires. The drainer, which was called elfa (not to be confused with electronics company ELFA), became very popular and started when he and his wife created the famous String shelf.
Nisse and Kajsa Strinning are rightly seen as icons of Scandinavian modern design and the String Shelving System as a modern contemporary design classic.
