The armrests of the Pandarine sofa are available in either a cylindrical shape or in a reclining shape which can be individually adjusted in the same way as the metal hinged backrests. This gives Pandarine the ability to transform it into a uniform, mattress-like surface with the backrests serving as long, soft cushions.

The Pandarine is made with a combination of high quality Nozag springs, foam and wadding and is designed to provide exceptional comfort in a variety of sitting or lying positions.

Pandarine sofa is available in two and three seater versions with options for additional chaise longues and corner modules, the range has a multitude of textile options and configurations giving great flexibility for use in a variety of private and public context

About the designer:

Inga Sempé is a French designer who lives and works in Paris. She graduated from the Ecole Nationale Superieure de Création Industrielle (ENSCI) in Paris (1993) and was also awarded a scholarship to the Villa Medici, Académie de France in Rome (2000 - 2001). In 2007 she received the Red Dot Design Award.

Her work is known for subtle details, combined with a strong personality and a special tactile character. The idea of everyday use is central to Sempé's approach and she often looks for materials with special properties to meet the need of a daily function.

For HAY she has already created various quirky accessories such as the, Letter Box, Pinorama Ruban, Panier and Matin Table Lamp.
