The Royal guards have watched over the Danish castles since 1658 - with their bearskin, red dress uniform and a cross on the chest.

Since Kay Bojesen designed his guards in 1942, they have been popular at national parties, and in companies too, the Danish were predominant on an international level.

Kay Bojesen's popular Royal Guardsman is now available in a new, small size and carries a beautiful cotton textile flag. The handsome Royal Guardsman is made of FSC®-certified painted beech wood. A great gift for life, both for children and adults.

The guards are made of beech wood, and the guardhouse is hand-painted as the packaging.

In 1992 this design was awarded the Formland Prize with the approval of Her Majesty, Queen Margrethe of Denmark.
