The Karl-Johan wall lamp from New Works is a combination of a robust oak base and an oval-shaped opal glass dome. Designer Signe Hytte found the inspiration for the soft curves of the Karl-Johan table lamp while searching for wild mushrooms in an autumn forest - the shape of the lamp is indeed reminiscent of a mushroom.

The name Karl-Johan is the Danish name for porcini mushrooms which is a common edible mushroom.The poetic look and soft light of Karl-Johan will complement any bedroom and bring tranquility, or add an elegant touch to the living room.

The depth of the Karl-Johan wall lamp is 18 centimeters and the diameter of the glass lampshade is 23 centimeters. The base measures 9.2 cm.
