The Gubi's Beetle is a collection of elegant and comfortable chairs, designed by the Danish-Italian design duo Gam-Fratesi. Stine Gam and Enrico Fratesi, these took their inspiration for the playful chair design from the anatomy of beetles, which is reflected in the delicate, insect-like legs and the slightly curved shell. Launched in 2012, the Beetle chair is suitable for a variety of uses and spaces and is now available in new colors and materials.

The designers:
GamFratesi studio was founded in 2006 by the Danish architect Stine Gam (born 1975) and the Italian architect Enrico Fratesi (born 1978). The studio is based in Copenhagen, although Gam and Fratesi travel continuously between Italy and Denmark for the development and research of new projects. GamFratesi has designed furniture and lighting fixtures for Louis Poulsen, Gubi, Hay, Fritz Hansen and Skultuna, among others.
