The Bounce 116 pendant lamp is a design by the Dutch Monika Mulder for Pholc, and is an atmospheric light source and a sculptural pendant lamp in one. Monika Mulder herself says about the design: “I wanted to make a lamp that gives the room character and at the same time provides light. With that in mind, I created a graphic expression emphasizing the path that the electricity draws from light source to light source. "

About the designer:

Monika Mulder (b. 1972) is a Dutch designer who graduated from Design Academy Eindhoven in 1997. Mulder started her career in the design department of IKEA and has had her own design studio in Gothenburg since 2007, with customers such as lamp brand Pholc.

In her design, Mulder emphasizes the sculptural elements of objects and wants to combine fluid functionality with beauty and playfulness. Mulder's work has been awarded with prizes such as the best furniture of the year 2003 and the best lamp of the year 2017 at the Elle Decoration Swedish Design Awards.
