The Artek Trienna coffee table is a design by the famous Ilmari Tapiovaara from 1954. Trienna is a sculptural and lightweight table consisting of three sheets of pressed birch plywood that create a beautiful geometric pattern on the top.

In 1954, only a few model versions were made and series production only started in 2007. In 2008, the Trienna coffee table was named "Best reissue table" by Wallpaper * magazine.

About the designer:

Ilmari Tapiovaara (1914-1999) was a well-known Finnish interior architect and designer. Tapiovaara always strived for a humane and warm living environment in his designs. Tapiovaara's designed furniture has always been part of a whole, with architecture as the starting point.
