The PC table lamp, designed by Pierre Charpin for Hay, has a mushroom-like shape that is both timeless and futuristic. The light source of the lamp is hidden and therefore provides a soft, downward light, so that there is no glare effect.

The PC table lamp is easily applicable in different interior styles, both in an office space and as part of your interior. Placed on a table, shelf or windowsill, the PC table lamp creates a pleasant and cozy atmosphere for any room.

About the designer:

Trained as an artist, Pierre Charpin has been committed to furniture and object design since the early 1990s. His approach to design is strongly influenced by his artistic background. Pierre's research into shape and color characterizes his work and can be seen in both limited edition products and industrial products such as the PC lamp.

The use of a simple vocabulary and elementary forms is a constant aspect in his work, as is the desire to provide sensual objects. Drawing, which he uses as a starting point for his designs, is an essential part of his creative process. Pierre Charpin's pieces have been featured in exhibitions around the world and are kept in many museum collections. He was voted Designer of the Year 2017 at Maison & Objet. He lives and works in Paris.
