The Tom Dixon Press series are lamps made of the thickest and most transparent glass available, and finished with a rounded linear surface. Aptly named Sphere, the shape is reminiscent of ship buoys and children's toys such as a spinning top. The ribbed glass diffuses the light source and projects linear and striped patterns onto the environment. A unique silhouette with a simple function.

The Press is manufactured by dropping solid drops of molten glass at 1200 degrees Celsius, pressed into iron molds under great pressure to create beautiful and durable lamps.

The Press family consists of lamps, vases, bowls and tea lights.
