The HAL lounge chair by Vitra is Jasper Morrison's interpretation of a classic high-back armchair.
The HAL is a combination of round oak legs with a smoothly shaped seat shell with removable seat and neck cushions. The chair is fully upholstered in Dumet cotton blend, which has a soft and lively surface. The sleek and understated look also makes the HAL armchair very suitable for smaller rooms, public areas or beautifully in the middle of the room.
According to the design philosophy of designer Jasper Morrison, something that is considered normal is usually more useful than something special - that is why the HAL chair collection is based on clear, functional principles. The timeless combination of plastic seat and wooden legs creates a versatile collection of chairs for different spaces and needs.
