About the designer :

The designers and brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec have become iconic contemporary designers. They worked extensively in the 1990s and 2010 to create unexpected yet practical designs for the world's largest furniture and lighting manufacturers. These include HAY, Vitra and Flos, among others.

The brothers were born in Quimper, in northwestern France, and both went on to study at the École Nationale des Arts Décoratifs and the École des Beaux-Arts in Cergy-Pontoise. The couple founded their own studio in 1999 and have worked in all disciplines, in furniture, ceramics, interior schemes, jewelry and storage.
