Design by Verner Panton 1971.
The Danish brand Louis Poulsen is coming thanks to its 50th anniversary!! of this iconic lamp with a new format in timeless and modern color versions:
Originally released in 1971, Panthella is one of the most popular products designed by Verner Panton. Panthella's light source is hidden under the semicircular shade that directs the light downwards to the trumpet-shaped base. This not only gives the lamp a distinctive, balanced silhouette, but also contributes to the light distribution due to the reflections on the chrome-plated metal surface.
Panthella is considered a classic of Danish design and is available in different sizes and colours. Launched in 2022, the combination of an opal gray shade and a chrome base, is reminiscent of Verner Panton's original color scheme for the larger 1971 Panthella fixtures.
