The strong shape and delicate texture create an exciting contrast that makes the Romb Mini table lamp almost sculptural - the Romb is guaranteed to add an interesting touch of design to your interior, even when the light is turned off.
However, this table lamp is actually much more detailed than it appears at first glance: the surface is decorated with a delicate, wavy texture that contrasts beautifully with the precision of the lamp's shape. Designers Mats Broberg and Johan Ridderstråle say they got the idea of corrugated cardboard, which they often use in creating architectural models.
In geometry, Romb's quadrangular shape is called a rhombus, with all four sides measuring the same. The unusual shape gives Romb a striking appearance, but is at the same time a practical solution: the shape makes the luminaire slimmer, so that it even fits on a narrower shelf or windowsill. The lamp is both an uplighter and a downlight and emits an indirect glow, which also emphasizes the fascinating geometry of the lamp.
