The Pastis Series, designed for HAY by French designer Julien Renault, is built on authenticity, strength and high-quality craftsmanship with the intention of creating a timeless design that will last for years.

Julien Renault was inspired by different styles such as the Shaker furniture, the architecture of Christchurch, New Zealand, as well as the Thonet-Mundus steam-bent styles.

Available in a variety of lacquered woods and colors, Pastis' durability and comfort make it suitable for both your home or public settings.

Dimensions: W48.5 X D50 X H80 - Seat height 45.5 cm.

The collection includes a chair, armchair, table and coffee table.

Note: chair is sold per two pieces.

About the designer:

Julien Renault is a French-born designer, based in Brussels. He studied industrial design at ESAD Design & Art School in Portugal and ECAL in Switzerland, and worked for example at Studio Bouroullec in Paris. In his own studio, Renault designed furniture and accessories for brands such as Mattiazzi and Hem, as well as creative directing and photography.
