The Klampenborg table lamp was designed in the design studio of Mogens Lassen in Klampenborg in 1944. With its beautifully curved shapes and soft light, the Klampenborg lamp creates a special atmosphere in your room without being too noticeable.
On top of the lamp is an integrated dimmer function in three levels. The lamp is an uplight, in which the light is reflected in the screen and spread back on the table so that you get a soft and atmosphere-creating light. The Klampenborg lamp is available in three finishes - matt polished brass, polished steel and black matt powder coated.
The Lassen brothers' Klampenborg was for many years a theoretical design on yellowed paper, which was kept in the Danish National Art Library in Copenhagen.

About the designer:
The Danish architect Mogens Lassen (1901-1987) was a pioneer of Danish functionalism. In 1927 he left to work for an engineering firm, but he did not like the work and did not speak French. However, Paris changed Lassen's view of architecture and when he returned to Denmark he set up his own studio.
