The Plinth coffee table is a design by design studio Norm Architects for the Danish brand Menu.
This design studio is one of the main suppliers of Menu, a design studio that has a preference for furniture and accessories in which everything irrelevant has been omitted. This results in an attractive collection with a very Scandinavian look.
The minimalist design of the marble plinth low coffee table also exudes luxury. The coffee table is part of the Plinth collection, a series of marble coffee tables, side tables in square, rectangular and high (low, tall and cubic) that are available in different colors and sizes.
With the Plinth collection, Norm Architects wanted to pay tribute to the beauty of marble. This coffee table is just as versatile and timeless as the other side tables in this collection. The table is handmade in a small studio in Portugal. All parts are assembled by hand, so that the patterns in the marble fit together nicely.
The table has a size of: Length 100 cm x Depth 35 cm and is 38 cm high. Available in multiple colors, it is sure to make a rustic focal point in your living room, whatever your decor.
Dimensions: 100 x 35 H38 cm.
About Norm Architects:
Norm Architects, founded in 2008 by Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen and Kasper Rønn, specializes in residential architecture, commercial interiors, industrial design, photography and art direction. The name, Norm Architects, reflects the group's emphasis on the importance of drawing inspiration from norms and traditions in architecture and design - particularly the Scandinavian design principles of timeless aesthetics and natural materials, and the modernist values of restraint and refinement.
Guided by these principles, Norm Architects produces a design that unites materials and craftsmanship, while embodying beauty, history and, most importantly, timeless simplicity, where nothing can be added or taken away. Today, the group regularly collaborates with MENU, contributing to the evolution of the brand and its product range - crowned with the same intrinsic quality as Norm's creative direction: a simplicity that brings bigger ideas.
Their projects are guided by body and mind rather than trends or technology, exploring ideas that not only look good, but also feel good: architecture is thought through, minimalism acquires softness and visual matter takes on haptic properties.
