George Nelson's Turbine Clock is without a doubt one of the most popular wall clocks ever made. George Nelson designed the Turbine Clock in the 1950s and it has been a classic icon of modern design ever since.

The Vitra clock comes with a modern quartz movement and matching battery.

About the designer:

George Nelson (1908-1986) was an American architect and designer who is considered one of the greatest American designers of the mid-twentieth century. Nelson studied at Yale University and in Rome, where he became familiar with European architecture and design. After returning to the United States, Nelson joined Herman Miller, where he soon took on the position of Design Director.
