The well-known Hay Palissade series by Studio Bouroullec is made of powder-coated steel and looks airy due to the beautiful interplay of lines.

This collection is designed for HAY by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec. The collection can be used in many different environments: cafes, restaurants, gardens, terraces and balconies. The garden furniture collection is strong, comfortable and at the same time modern and elegant.

The sleek yet robust Palissade footstool is a member of Hay's versatile collection of outdoor furniture. Palissade garden furniture has a strong, graphic design consisting of simple steel pipes and slats. Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec spent two years working with the collection, creating a series of simple, well-balanced pieces that are great for patios, balconies, gardens, cafes and public spaces.

The Palissade chairs, tables and benches are sturdy yet elegant and perfect for outdoor use, as wind and water pass through the galvanized steel frame. The Palissade furniture is designed to age well and the muted color palette adds to the timeless and versatile look.

The footstool is 65 centimeters wide, 37 centimeters high and 60 centimeters deep.

This collection also includes an armchair, a dining chair, a lounge chair, an ottoman, a square table, a rectangular table and a garden bench.

About the designers:

Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec are not only brothers but also a world famous design duo based in Paris. They have been working together since 1998. Ronan graduated from the prestigious Ecole Superieure des Arts decoratifs in Paris and Erwan was a student of the Ecole nationale superior des Arts in Cergy, France. Together with their successful designs they have a major influence on the contemporary design industry.
