This beloved elephant from Kay Bojesen is 70 years old in 2023 and that must of course be celebrated with a special edition. That is why an elephant has now been added to the Reworked family, which is a beautiful mix of different types of wood, such as teak, walnut, oak, ash and maple. All different types of wood come from excess and residual wood that would otherwise be lost. The ReWorked series is the answer from Kay Bojes to upcycling and minimizing raw material waste, which reveals the ReWorked Elephant in a modern, responsible and more sustainable way.
The special edition of the elephant therefore not only points in the direction of the past but also to the future. Every reworked elephant is unique, because its appearance depends on the wood that remains on the day of production. You would almost be inclined to call the reworked version of the Elephant more unique than the original classic. Each elephant has a 70-year anniversary stamp under the foot and is supplied in a special Limited Edition wooden anniversary box!
