Designed by Arthur Umanoff during the 1950s, the Umanoff Nesting Side Table is a stackable, space-saving choice when room size is limited—and a beautiful piece of mid-century modern design. Colored laminated panels in geometric shapes add a decorative and practical note to the sleek, solid walnut design. Equal parts traditional and unconventional, the three tables accent a space whether placed together or used individually.

About the designer:

Arthur Umanoff (1923-1985) was an American-born industrial designer, known for his contribution to the mid-century American modern movement. After graduating from New York's prestigious Pratt Institute and the American School of Design in the early 1950s, they partnered with Postmodern Ltd, a New York design company that produced and sold modernist wrought iron and wood designs. Throughout the 1960s he worked closely with furniture manufacturer Shaver Howard, who put many of his furniture designs into production.
