The W224 Alto can best be described as minimalist and understated, yet impressively powerful, the lamp is a design by Dirk Winkel for the Swedish Wastberg.

The W224 Alto has a sleek and refined cylindrical lamp housing and is equipped with a multi-directional and wide-angle LED, capable of illuminating an entire room with beautifully balanced light.

So an ideal alternative to conventional pendant lighting in your home, the W224 is also dimmable for a softer, relaxing atmosphere when needed.

About the designer:

Dirk Winkel is a Berlin-based product designer who studied at the University of Arts (UdK) Berlin, graduating in 2010 with an MA in Design Products from the Royal College of Art, London.
In 2012 he taught Design Construction at the Industrial Design course at the UdK.
He specializes in lighting and furniture design and worked for several designers and design houses in Berlin and London before setting up his own studio in Berlin in the summer of 2011.
