The Skagerak Jut series by Fritz Hansen is a collection of minimalist storage cabinets made of oak and marble, available in different sizes.

The sideboard called Jut is a beautifully refined cabinet for storing your crockery, clothing, office supplies and any other necessities. The frame is made of oiled oak, the handles are made of brass and the table top is made of beautifully selected piece of marble.

The space behind the right and middle doors is separated by a removable shelf and the space behind the left door is left empty. The combination of luxurious materials and smart design makes Jut both a practical storage cabinet and a striking design object.

About the designer:

Based in Oslo, Thomas Jenkins is an industrial designer whose work explores different materials, craft skills and industrial production methods. Jenkins founded his own studio in 2010 and he also works at branding agency WORK. Jenkins describes his vision on design with the words "quality over fashion".
