The sofa by Fritz Hansen called Lissoni is a design by Italian designer Piero Lissoni. The sofa is a good example of Lissoni's design principle, clear lines and an eye for detail.
The design has a sleek design in combination with a minimalist appearance. The clear horizontal and vertical lines that are very clearly reflected in the contours of the base and the comfortable cushions characterize the sofa. The sofa is a good example of Piero Lissoni's design principle never to design for a specific function or purpose - but to design for people. You can also feel his great admiration for the designs of well known designers Poul Kjaerholm and Arne Jacobsen and their ability to be ahead of the times.
The frame of the sofa is made of a combination of plywood with solid birch and the whole is supported by steel. Both the seat and the back cushions have a zipper so that they can be cleaned chemically if necessary, these are filled with balls of fiber in combination with feathers. The base is made of stainless steel and has a matte polished finish. Other base options: warm graphite, brown-bronze and black
The sofa is available in a 2-seater and a 3-seater. Both sofas have a deep seat of 63.9 centimeters. Also available, 2 seater and 3 seater Lissoni Studio version, with more compact dimensions.
