To breathe new life into Wastberg's iconic Chipperfield desk lamp, David Chipperfield introduced several new variants in the w102 Chipperfield series, including this slim floor lamp variant.
With a subtle sense of simplicity, David Chipperfield has created a floor lamp with a clear distinction between the base, arm and shade, the floor lamp is an example of expert mechanical craftsmanship so that there are no visible connections on the fixture.
The floor lamp is available in a choice of dark steel and solid brass, the lamp contains an integrated dimmable LED, perfect for creating an atmospheric glow in your home in different rooms.

About the designer:
Born in London in 1953, Sir David Chipperfield later studied at the Kingston School of Art and the Architectural Association in London.
After graduating, he founded his own architectural firm in the early 1980s and received a large number of awards and titles. These include becoming an honorary member of the Florence Academy of Art and Design, a Royal Designer for Industry (RDI), and receiving the Order of Merit from the Federal Republic of Germany.
One of his greatest achievements was receiving the RIBA Royal Gold Medal for Architecture in 2011. The Royal Gold Medal is awarded in recognition of a lifetime of work and is personally approved by Her Majesty The Queen.
