The compact and airy lounge chair by well-known Danish designer Arne Jacobsen from 1959 was originally designed for the famous Royal SAS Hotel in Copenhagen, for which the designer designed both the architecture and the interior. The Pot lounge chairs were located in a cocktail bar in the hotel and in the hotel corridors near the elevators. Since 2017, the beautiful Pot lounge chair has been included in the Fritz Hansen collection again.
The Fritz Hansen Pot lounge chair is available in a multitude of beautiful fabric and leather variants. The slim tubular steel frame gives this pleasant Scandinavian chair an airy and compact character and is therefore suitable for many spaces such as the living room, office or bedroom. About the designer:
Trained as an architect in Copenhagen, Arne Jacobsen started the profession way back in the year 1920. His most famous buildings are Arhus Town Hall in Denmark, SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen and St Catherine's College in Oxford, England.
