The Rocking Horse from 1946 was made by Arne Jacobsen to push the boundaries of his craftsmanship in bending wood.

This reissue is based on images and drawings of the prototype dating from 1946, when the first attempts were made to bend the veneer to its limits. The horse is made from one piece of veneer, the same material that was used shortly afterwards for Arne Jacobsen's famous chairs.

The rocking horse is made of ash veneer with a rope "tail" and leather ears.
