About the designer:
Spanish artist and industrial designer Jaime Hayon was born in Madrid in 1974.
In 1997 he started working as a researcher at Fabrica, the communications and research center of the Benetton Group in Treviso, Italy. In 2004, Hayon's individual career began and he has engaged in a spectrum of eclectic projects. From toys to modern furniture and interior design, as well as artistic installations, his courage has been to transcend the boundaries of the often separated worlds of art and design, comfortably bridging the two and anchoring them in his own unique style.
