Created with both maximalists and minimalists in mind, the striking Echo Throw Blanket from Norwegian graphic artist Mariken Steen-Forgaard allows you to match your style to your mood.
Responsibly made from high quality New Zealand wool, this softly woven throw takes its inspiration from the shifting hues that appear where the sky and the sea meet.
Available in an assortment of primary tones that are combined with a supporting neutral,
the pattern on the Echo Throw Blanket has no visible front or back. Instead the reversed-out structure divides into two reflecting colours, allowing you to hide or reveal its contrasting yet complimentary shades.
Style alone on a bed or sofa, or alongside our matching Echo Cushion.
Colors: blue, yellow, red. New Zealand wool.
Dimensions: 130 x 170 cm. Net weight: 1,1 Kg.
About the designer:
Internationally renowned Norwegian graphic artist Mariken Steen-Forgaard has an academic background in communication design, so storytelling is a big part of her creative process.
Describing her work as a “curious exploration of new ideas”, whether working on a commission or a self-initiated project, Mariken likes to repurpose the materials she’s got to hand. Often pursuing abstract concepts, such as memory, imagination, and perception, the overall aim is to merge the mundane with aesthetics and philosophy.
