The elegant BM29 shelves by well known designer Børge Mogensen feature solid wooden supports in oak or walnut, veneered planks and brass screws.
Fredericia has reintroduced this, an original design from 1956, now for sale again after almost seventy years, the elegant and simplistic design is handmade in Denmark and is still as stylish as it was back then.
The versatility of the BM29 shelf adds a cozy atmosphere to any room in your home. There are four different sizes to choose from, allowing you to create a simple setup with two shelves or a complete wall with shelves. In addition, the two models feature a narrow desk shelf, providing a discreet and creative workspace for small home offices.
These shelves are made from furniture boards with veneered surfaces and showcase the sleek, elegant and sturdy features that have been re-applied through age-old engineering.
Fine shelf brackets maintain the horizontal orientation of the shelves, while the brackets themselves are expertly crafted from solid wood and discreetly attached to the wall with an attractive brass screw.
The BM29 plank is handmade in Denmark and available in oak or walnut finishes, which are treated with a matte lacquer.

About the designer.
The designs of Børge Mogensen (1914-1972) produced pieces in which people were central. He became a highly influential post-war designer and a leading representative of Danish Modern.
Mogensen's democratic design included simple and functional wooden furniture for both private and public spaces, with a calm aesthetic and strong construction made of high-quality materials. He believed in visual clarity and minimal decoration or experimentation, as seen in his classic hunting table and patio chairs set.
