Exact replicas of the originals in both material and design, these pieces of furniture are true little works of art.
Everything is scrupulously respected in the manufacture of these replicas: the structure, the materials and the colors are identical to the original work. Originally conceived from a purely educational perspective, the concept gradually turned into collectibles.
The big names in design appear in this Vitra collection, such as Breuer, Thonet, Mies Van der Rohe, Eames, Verner Panton, Saarinen.

About the designer:
Between 1917 and 1919, Mart Stam completed a carpentry training course and then went to the National Normal School for Drawing Education in Amsterdam. He obtained his diploma as an art teacher there. Stam worked as a draftsman at the office of architect Marinus Jan Granpré Molière in Rotterdam until 1922 and joined the Dutch architectural association Opbouw. He went to Berlin that same year and worked at various architectural firms until 1923, including those of Max Taut and Hans Poelzig. At the Bauhaus exhibition in Weimar in 1923 he was already represented in the field of international architecture.
From 1966 onwards he increasingly withdrew from public life and lived in Switzerland until his death in 1986.
