About the designer:
Frank Lloyd Wright was an architect and writer whose distinct style helped him become one of the greatest forces in American architecture. After his studies he became chief assistant to architect Louis Sullivan. Wright subsequently founded his own firm and developed a style known as the Prairie School, which sought an "organic architecture" in residential and commercial building designs. During his career he created countless iconic buildings around the world.
